Google Pay is one of the most popular modes of making payment these days. The digital wallet can be used to pay in stores make online purchases and to send money to friends and family. Users need to simply link their bank accounts to the app to start transacting via UPI. However, for those of you who have more than one bank account, Google gives you the option to link multiple bank accounts to Google Pay.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to add an additional account to the m-wallet. It’s the same way how you add a brand new account. However, you can switch between them easily.

You can link more than one bank account. Steps are as follows.

  1. Open Google Pay
  2. Tap your profile & go to settings
  3. Go to Bank Account
  4. Add Bank Account
  5. Select Your Bank

So the biggest advantage of ‘ Google Pay’ is the direct linking with all your bank accounts to make or receive payments. So, I do not worry about opening separate bank apps to manage my different bank accounts.

Even it is easy to remove a bank account. Steps are as follows.

  1. Open Google Pay
  2. Tap your profile & go to settings
  3. Go to Bank Account
  4. Tap on the account that you want to delete
  5. Tap on more icon and Remove account

You can even decide where to receive money. When someone sends you money, it goes into your primary account. So I have selected one of my account as a primary account for which I had gone through the following steps.

  1. Open Google Pay
  2. Tap your profile & go to settings
  3. Go to Bank Account
  4. Tap on the account that you want to make primary account
  5. At the bottom of the page, tap ‘Set as primary account’
